Default no power, no codes ,no clue!!!!

my bone stock 02 lb7 has been doggin for power, it starts and runs fine ( a little ruff idle) and is still getting 17.8 mpg, but it just doesnt want to get up and go at all. randomly it will juet run like a champ never know how long it will last .. a day, week,or 5mileswhen it runs good its real smooth quiet and powerful you hear the faint whistle of the turbo every time you touch the accellerator and instantly you go, when it runs bad you just hear the engine seems like its alot louder cant hear turbo and if you stomp the accell down it barely moves.anybody have a clue? brand new injects cp3,filter, even pulled tankcould it be a prob in turbo sensor or somthing? im not a mechanic but with the right advise im sure i can fix it. oh ya no smoke at all even when i romp it ??? any info ? thanks

do you have any way to monitor things? being able to see what some of the sensors are doing while driving would help you out a lot. this is kind of a hard one with no actual codes set.

ya it sucks having no codes! dealer just saya well it runs pretty good cant find any thing wrong with it, do these guys drive duramax trucks at all? today for no reason at all it started runnig rough again, not as bad as it can but still no great response fr om the accellerator plunging it down like 2"!!!! , when things are good a 1/4" to a 1/2" is like a ten mile an hour gain???? at least its not rolling backwards at uphill stops right now.... anyway iwas looking at a programer will this work to monitor sensors and such? like a tech 2 or close? any tips on where to start, should i pay the dealer to diagnose ,or could i get set up and do some of it myself??
