Is anyone running the valair dual disc clutch that hold up to 650 hp with the 3800# pressure plate. I need a dual disc that will hold a little playing around along with alot of heavy towing. Can anyone help me.

 

The only Dual Disc that Valair has that they really rate for towing is there Organic Dual Disc that is rated at 550HP. You can tow with the other clutches but the full ceramic duals discs dont seem to last as well as the organics for towing. If you want a clutch setup for towing at around the 650 range Heath at Valair recommends doing the street triples for reliability and longevity but the price is a killer on those clutches. Are you only ever going to have the xrt or later on down the line are you gonna do a different turbo and injectors?

 

I am going to a turbo and injectors sometime next year. What are you recomending. I dont know much about clutch/transmissions just more of a motor guy here. Should i go with the SB Dual Disc.

 

im running the sb dd street comp clutch think its 3800 or 3850 i cant rember the number but i tow pretty regular and play just about everytime i drive it no probs yet have about 30-40 k on it

 

DO you happen to remember what it cost you. Need a clutch that i can do that with. Are your disc's cermaic or what material are they

 

im not sure on material think ceramic think it was around 1800 give or take some that was with hydros
