Hey guys, im heavily considering putting one of these bad boys into my NV5600 trans, anyone who has or had one please let me know what you think about it.

Is it a quality piece and more importantly, is it worth the $200+/- that you paid for it. Also, how much does it actually reduce shift throw, it advertises 20% but is that fairly accurate?

Basically, is it a piece thats worth buying?

Any vids or pics of one installed would be awesome

There is the link for all those interested, looking at USD$ 237.50 according to them. I've never heard or seen one installed on truck like ours. Personally, I would put the money elsewhere.

 

I have one, got it for cost, and its worth it once you get used to it. More than likely your gear shift pattern on the handle will be rotated if that bothers you.

Again, like I said, once you get used to it, its great. Takes getting used to when shifting before your tranny gets warm and I also caught myself trying to grab reverse after driving a G56 hours before because of the massive difference in throws!

 

I just got one off genos gradge and it was 196. Or something like that, anyway better than full price.

 

i put the kit in my 5 speed before i did the conversion but it works mint

 

Have one in my NV4500. Noticed a big difference in throws. Love it.

I have seen em before and they are definitely kinda cool... but I agree with RAW, Id put the money elsewhere
