pull the glove box out
pull the ecu out of its holder
there are three plugs, pull the center one out of the ecu,
pull the 24 pin pink holder off, and then you will have a top row (A) and bottom row (B)
there is a blank space in A6 (sixth one in from the right) which is where you would put a pin with a wire into the open slot.
**THIS IS THE ECU SO NO HALF-ASSING***
i got the wire for my wire from a junk yard from the same truck.
once you put the wire in, put the pink holder back in place.
take that wire, and plug it into a grounded switch that is also wired to 12V
***PUT A FUSE BLOCK ON BOTH WIRES***
put everything back together, and wahlah
1100 RPM at the flip of a switch

you can also look on kennedy diesel, i tried to give the best directions

this might sound stupid but i dont want to screw something up, what are you needing to run power to and what do you need to ground
