Well I'd degrease the mess out of the leak area and rough it up with some steel wool or Sandpaper then put some jb weld on that sucker and see If it holds. If is was more important like a main seal Id say replace it. But something small and not to important. I'd do it

LOL...

You would think its not that important, but I was left on the side of the road when the nut on the outside broke a few months ago...

ALL the oil in the motor leaked out of that SOB!

I've seen people remove the tube, shove a wire brush into the hole, then remove the outer nut (while holding onto the wire brush and inner part) then fish the O ring out and replace it.

With mine I replaced the nut with a spare and used RTV around it. Not pretty but it got me back on the road for the time being.

You can also buy this kit and fix it for good!

i loosened the nut and was VERY careful not to drop the threaded part in the pan or you r F$$$$$!!! used a lil sandpaper where the nut goes, made a gasket from a blank sheet i got at advance, siliconed her up, tightened the nut and i have a very very slight leak but the dot dont mess with me anymore!!!

Expensive, yes... but think of the cost to pull the motor to fix properly!
