Default Intake set up?

hey guys

I'm lookin to buy a truck so I can hit the woods again. I want to get a diesel though also. If I do get a diesel is there a special way of setting up the intake so it won't suck water through the turbo with out hanging a big snorkel through the fender.

well the intake is about the same height as batteries and the rest of the under hood electrical. if you're that deep in water then you will probably have water in the cab.

Im not looking to go sink the front. But acouple people have said don't take a t/d wheelin. So if I were to buy a turbo diesel I should be okay unless I completely sink the front end

yeah you'll be fine. it's not like they use the axle tube as part of the intake. if it's semi deep water just don't haul a$$ thru it.
