Default Looking at my first diesel

So ive been researching and looking into diesels for about 6 months and im looking to buy now.

Now today i test drove an 01 cummins and in the side it said HO limited edition. But i did dome research on it on here and apparently all HO have a manual behind them. This one has a auto behind it and i was wondering if its a true HO or a mis-advertised. Now the other mods are a Air dog 150, AEM CAI, some type of programmer or chip, and 4'' exhaust.

So the question is, should i get this diesel or look elsewhere?

I always look underneath truck floor boards, fender wells, axles, gear fluids, oil, trans, air filter, fuel filter, bed little things you find can tell you a lot about vehicle history or up keep in my experience. Drive it and I mean hammer it to floor then brake stop quick on a dime, etc. Good luck!!
