Default Ricers and the famous saying "If it smokes, its Broke."

Why is it that ricers like to claim that if a truck smokes its broke? when that isn't the case at all. I've been making the arguement for years that its impossible to find a high power turbo diesel pickup that does not smoke. Hell a triple turbo cummins pushing 1000+ Hp still smokes. Just angers me when people try to tell me that a diesel is broke if it smokes and when you try to explain why they just say we don't know how to make horsepower the right way. We can't help it there is no such thing as an instant spooling turbo that can light up as soon as we step on it to clean the smoke up. I just don't get why people can't understand it when everything is laid out in front of them.

A lot of them say it because they know it gets under the skin of the majority of diesel owners.

Quite a few of the "Honda" folks are more talented than many give them credit for--both in mechanical aptitude and psychological warfare.

The import crowd has taken trash talk to a new level.

With today's tuning capabilities and turbo technologies, there really is no reason we can't design and run cleaner diesels, even at higher HP levels.

Check out this 7.3... older engine, newer tuning. This is a 1000 rwhp capable truck, running emissions testing in Colorado. It passed with FLYING colors. Turn the **** on the dash and you're cranking 1000hp. Don't say it can't be done... this is on an old dinosaur of a motor too. Swamps 400/400 injectors in this rig.

You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me? Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block... and replace the piston rings you fried. Ask any ricer. Any real ricer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.
