Maybe a 500hp truck, with a custom chip, runs a 6.12 in the 1/8?

It still wouldn't run that time in the 1/8... not even close. AFAIK the fastest trucks are in the 9 second range with a couple touching something like 8.98 in the 1/4.... those trucks are capable of 2000hp and are actually dialed back to keep up with traction. I'm talking 4x4 RC/LB type trucks.

That's odd, I thought his post said 1/4 mile. I'm reading it over and over and it still says 1/4 mile. Let me know what it says for you and get back to me

I understand the track times... still not making any sense. You can't throw a chip on and run 10's in the 1/4 either.
