Default fuel rail pressure low

ok so i just bought a new 2011 i got the hs mini max and exhaust in the first day i had it and yesterday 3rd day owning it i put in the egr deletes and fuel rail plug so today it is throwing the p0087 low fuel rail pressure code there is no visible leakage i got it all to gether pretty like tonight i am going to put the stock plug in and see if this corrects the problem has anyone else had this experience? or any ideas why it would happen?

i remember h&s saying something about not recommending the plug for 2011 i think. you prob should call h&s monday. post what you find out.

thanks i didnt know that i was really getting worried because i was being gentle and it was happening under barely any load and half throttle.

ok so i put the stock one back in and i am still throwing the code. it is happening around 55 ish mph it never stumbles or anything just pops the code. i can get on it wot 1st through 4th gears with no code throw it into 5th and about 1/2 throttle it will ding and voi-la we have a p0087. there is no visible leakage in the engine bay i am going to update the h&s maybe there could be something in the tuning?

Try the update and talk to H&S about the update. As much as I hate to say it, it could also be the CP3 (or any of the parts involved like the FCA) trying to take a dump which would cause the rail pressure to be lower than it should be. I hope its the tuning although I've never had it happen if not I hope its the FCA because its a cheap and easy fix anyhow good luck and keep us posted

my 09 does this all the time I just keep clearing it when I think of it,I have the same setup as you,it even tells me my dpf is full,don't know how it can tell,the dpf is in the shed

fuel control actuator pretty sure it just regulates the fuel mounted to the cp3 im pretty sure

ok so h&s couldnt offer me any help. they said i shouldnt have installed the fuel rail plug and that might have caused the problem they said bring it to the dealer.so i scheduled an appointment for monday. today my backup camera started coming on intermittently while driving. and my reverse lights look like strobes! i am going to un delete my truck and hopefully they wont just void the warantee when i pull in! i checked for loose connections for my reverse sensor and everything seems tight hopefully it gets handled monday
