Default bd valvebody and other tranny problems

its been a crazy weekend. i got my bd valve body and tc installed. took it for a test drive and the tc blew five mins after install. i had aamco take the new tc out and out the stocker back in and now i having problems getting the truck in park and i dont have any type of overdrive. gonna call the mechanic in the morning. but id really like some input if yall got any suggestions.

Did you do the initial install? No park could very easily be an install issue in regards to the linkage.

no ammco did the whole thing. i was thinking linkage too. but i hope this valve body isnt screwed up too. im running 2100 rpm at 50 mph and took it all the way to 65 with no shift. i dont understand what happend to my o/d the stocker kicked in at 50.

Could be an issue with the throttle valve being incorrectly adjusted. Could also be a valve body issue. A professional diagnoses is the first thing to look for. Do you have a well know independent transmission shop around you? Or a decent diesel performance shop that has transmission experience?

no diesel performance shops. just a couple tranny shops. aamco is a pretty good place for trannys. but the valve body comes ready to go in the box so he shouldn't have adjusted it. i ll just have to get in touch with him in the morning i gotta go pick up my brand new blow tc there anyways.

If he didn't check line pressure and verify the valvebody is functioning as it should, he didn't do his job. Remember he is referring to factory specs on items like line pressure, so you'll need to advise him on items like line pressure, t.v. adjustment and so on
