When they release this I will think about buying a new truck. A Toyota Tundra 1 ton dually diesel with an 8 liter 300hp stock engine jammed in it. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it.

They'll have a long bed version out by the time it hit's the market. I'm bettin they will market it as a work horse type truck and not a Luxury Liner so that means it would have to come with a long bed. After it's been out for a few years then they will fancy it up and put a smoother ride to it. That's how they have done all the other trucks they have brought out.

They made a couple mistakes when they made their first fullsize truck. They were too small and under powered compared to the competition.

They've fixed the size but they'll need to squeeze some more power out of this thing to be competitive.

Rear fenders are still fugly BTW.

I wouldnt be caught dead in anything outside the big 3. Toyota and Nissan need to stick to the economy car and tonka toy truck market.

Great God that's an ugly truck! It just doesn't look right... The front end looks too small, the cab looks WAY too big and the fenders on the back are just weird... SOOO not impressed with that one...

300hp out of an 8.0L Hino motor...not impressed, that oughta give it the WORST fuel economy in a diesel ever. The truck is ugly, it'll never make it to production with that motor, thank god. I think I'll stick to a proven engine in a light truck, the Cummins or a D-max for me thanks.
