Default Slamming my 2wd to the ground..

Ok so heres the deal, my buddy has a 2001 Dodge 2500 CTD, jacked up, nice big tires, and like a 3-4" lift on his truck, well my truck happens to be 2wd. I told him i bet i could make my truck faster than his. So im dropping my truck real low to the ground. How i was going to achieve this in the front was measuring the spring and ride heighth then cutting part of the spring out instead of heating it up. On the rear i was simply going to flip the shackle over to where i was sitting ontop of the leaf springs instead of under them. Or ive raced modified for many years and could weld up spring perches and make it coil spring in the back or put coilovers on.. ANY suggestions? DOS OR DONTS?? Thanks!!!

For the front i'd suggest getting new shorter springs and shocks.. the spring has a flat end that you wont have if you cut it...

Rear, yeah weld on perches and put on top.. then you can put spacers to get it as low as you need.. also shorter shocks... Ive never done these things but have seen them done..
