Its getting cold out so naturally its time for the truck to start breaking stuff. My blower motor is starting to make a loud noise. Has anyone replaced theirs? or had it apart? Is there anything serviceable? Brushes or anything? Anyone have experience with this?

 

I haven't with these trucks in particular. I've yet to come across any blower motor that is easily serviceable. Seems for the price of them it's easier to replace then rebuild.

 

Pretty much what I was thinking bud...I was just looking for tips from whaever has worked on theirs.

Much faster, cheaper, and 0 aggravation w/ a new one. I've messed with a few of em, and I couldn't see how they come apart.

 

Mines makeing noises and some times it will turn on some times it won't and when I hit a bump will turn on. I'll get to it one day

Penhold, Alberta and North of You (a hour north of me) makes having a blower motor that works a top priority.

 

Well its been HOT but Im not in the truck enough to care by the time it gets cool its time to go

Yea yea I think it's the resistor pack come undone. I put a new relay on there already
