does anyone have any rear bumper plans? im looking for a heavy duty bumper but not to big. if anyone has any plans or knows a website with them for my 97 f250 it would help alot. thnks

 

dually or single wheel? my buddy did one for his dually out of 6" square tube with a tapered skirt on the bottom and it looks good. but i don't have any pictures of it.

 

its a single wheel. would it work on my truck anyways?

 

yeah it would. he did a wrap around and matched the angle on the back of the fenders. with the single it would look pretty stupid with a wrap around. it would be stupid easy to do if you can weld or know some one who can. for the bracket, he used the bracket from the old bumper. he just notched the tube and welded it solid. the skirt on the bottom is out of 10 ga. tread plate. about a 15 degree angle towards the front of the truck from end to end then about 8" in the center was flat right where it went over the reciever tube. i'll see if i can get a picture of it on here.

 

yeah i can do all the fab myself just looking for ideas and plans. a picture would be tight tho! thanks man

 

ok. i'm not smart enough to get the pictures on to this thread. go to my profile and look at the pictures in there. it's under bumper. i was wrong on the rear skirt but it will give you a idea.
