sounds like yur of to a good start. I used the old getrag on mine and got a 29 spline gear for the s/d t-case and she bolted right up. Not sure about the nv4500, but with the getrag I was able to use the dodge slave cyl. and the ford master cyl. and it works great. When you get the clutch/brake pedel assembly, I would put new bushings in the clutch pedel shaft (the free play from my worn bushings gave me a headache!). Also, there's some simple wiring to splice in the tranny harness to let the 4low work and the start safety overide. There should already be the clutch pedel wiring under the dash. I think I posted on here somewhere the wires you need to cross, can't remember for sure. Good luck, yur gonna like it!

My 99 super duty conversion is real similar, but I started out with a 5spd cab! The center hump is about 2-3 inches higher that the cabs with an auto tranny! I bought my engine mounts from Auto world in Mt (NOT FORD CUMMINS ) !

I rebuilt a NV4500 and replace my input spline on my Ford 271 T case with a 29 spline to bolt up to my NV! The bad or not too bad part is the Ford 271's are clocked a couple of degrees down when hooked up to a NV ! If I had a Dodge 271 my T Case would be a better, but it only lowered it about an inch and a half from stock! Like I said no big deal.

I used my V10 radiator and an intercooler from a 2006 Super Duty and all works great and bolts up! I did use a 2004 CR Exhaust manfold that is set back and lower so everthing is tucked in fine !

Thanks for lettin me hijack your thread for a minute or two.
Keep up the good work and enjoy your ride.

Default its in but i need some input

I have the engine in the front to back is great and the up and down is great but the sided to side is off just a little about 1"- 1 1/4" this is where it likes to sit will this bother me being off this much if I raise the engine up then it sits at an angle or I have to cut out the tunnel

It should be over to the Drivers side about an Inch and a half so all is well!

Like I said if you Super Duty came with an AutoMatic tranny then you center hump is about 2 inches lower than that of a Standard transmission configuration. If you use a ZF6 spd then you may have to do some floor work to raise the center console. The ZF 6spds are an inch or too taller than the NV5600 s

well the transfer case is in no major issues it does take up more room than I thought it would. I need to lower the rear cross-member 1 1/2 lower should not be much of an issue all the drive lines are hooked up the front I didn't have to do anything the rear had it shortened 2.5" and put on the dodge slip yolk

posted a couple of pics in my photobucket
