im putting on my tq converter and vb this weekend and was wondering is there anything that the shift kit dose that the new valve body doesn't?

 

BD takes a stock VB and installs their own shift kit and other mods to it.

BD valve body is a Transgo shift kit installed by somebody else (that probably knows what they are doing) in a stock valve body, and costs alot more because somebody else did the work and charges accordingly.

If you try to buy one and they don't ask you some questions about your truck/trans and what you do with it, I would look elsewhere. That would probably mean they are selling a stock VB with a Transgo kit in it - nothing else.
