Default New tires on a dually

I'm lookin at a couple different michelins for my 95 3500 4x4. I'm runnin the stock 215x85x16 now and it looks like I've got room between the duals to go a little bigger.

Michelin LTX A/T 2 LT215/85R16/E 115R B
30.4" overall, 8.5" section width, 7.2" section height

Michelin LTX A/T 2 LT235/85R16/E 120R B
31.7" overall, 9.3" section width, 7.9" section height

Not lookin to make big changes here or affect the gearing to much. Any input appreciated.

I've seen lots of guys bump up to 235/85R16, shouldn't be a problem.

Very nice! First time seein those. Looks expensive, but would be nice in the snow here. I ran BFG A/T on my F350 4x4 and never needed chains. Could have used some sand bags in the bed though.

I pull trailers, I drive empty through the snow, sled pulls, you name it, these tires have gotten me through it. Cooper Discoverer M/S is a nice tire also.

I just had those put on my truck last week. They look good to me. Not sure how they will hold up though.

Think I'll stick with the factory size for now though. Don't want any less width between my duals. Don't like spacers and seems like I will need different rims if I want to maintain the spacing and go to a bigger tire.

The 235 will fit and there is still space between the tires.
Check this link out and you can see the size difference.
