i already replace the sensor on the rearend,no help what could it be,i checked the wires along the frame ,looked good no bad spots.thanks

 

i thought forsure someone else has had this problem before,ive heard it could be in the rearend but i dont have a clue what to do to fix,thanks

 

i am not sure but check and see if there is any plugs going to the tailshaft of the trans/tcase.

 

THANKS,but i checked nothing on tranny or transfer except 4x4 hookup,only speedometer sensor is on the rear axle.

 

ok. i know certain years the sensor in the rear is just for the RABS.

 

yopur sensor is on the transmission .... keep searching you will find a plug in on drivers side....... the one in the rear end is for abs..... un related
could be on the tail of transmission or on out put of the t-case..... usually on the drivers side.... two or three prong plug

 

there is none on the trans on the newer idis. it all runs off the rear. my 94 does not have anything to the trans other than reverse lamp switch. belive they started doing this in 91 or 92

 

check it over 3 times,the speedometer is on the rear axle,it has a new sensor i think it is both speedo and abs sensor according the guy at parts store,maybe something broke on the tone ring

 

is your abs lamp on? if not, the sensor is working correctly.

 

yeah abs light is on,but i read that the speedo and abs work of the same sensor and my tone ring maybe be broke,thanks
