I have air bags on my 95 2wd reg cab, that I will probably never use, but I want to take care of them. How can I maintain my air bags?? Is there something I can put on the rubber?? There Goodyear airbags, I just don't want them rotting away. I was told NOT to use Armor All, or any of that stuff, what can I use? I also have the rear sway bar for my 95, should I put it back on, or just leave it off?

Just wipe em down every once in a while, the best you can do. Anything else would just make dirt stick to them more. As for the sway bar, I've heard of most people taking them off or not coming from the factory with one at all.

 

They have been used on semis and trailers for years and I have yet to see anybody even worry about doing anything to them. They usually last for a long time with one blowing out on rare occasion. I think I have had 2 blow over the years.

 

You are supposed to keep a minimum of 5 or 8lbs (i think) in the bags also according to the info. that came with mine.

 

I used to take mine out to dinner once in a while and buy her flowers on occasion.
