Default Recall On 07.5 1Ton & 3/4Ton

suposeofly theres somthing wrong with the front axle and u aint supose to put it in 4wd untill fix, my dad saiad that i got a recall letter there at home and he said the gm forgot to take somthing out wen they were built so they build up pressure and blow the seals out

well mine is in 4wd almost all day every day on the pipeline right of way so i gues ill swing by the dealership here in gillette 2morrow and see wats up , didnt know if any of yall have herad it yet

something wrong w/ the breather? something plugging the hole?

some of the breather tubes had a kink in them. mine was OK

When they assemble they bend the breather over and put tape or a tie around it so its out of the way, some of them didnt get removed in final assembly.

Is this only for the 07.5 and not the 08. Or should I take it to the dealer anyways to get it checked out?

Just get under there and look for yourself. Dont give the dealer and opportunity to try and get some of your money.

It's both. I got the notice on my '08 and it was fine.

Recalls are free of charge no matter what. Last recall I had done was on an 03, and it was for a fuel/water filter. Didn't cost me a dime to have it fixed.
