2000 Ford 7.3 check engine light comes on after 45 minutes and loose complete turbo boost. After sitting for an hour engine light is off and have full boost for 10 minutes and then total loss of boost when engine light comes on again, any ideas?

How are you measuring boost? What are your EGT's when this happens?

 

Sorry but no gauges, to explain it further, it is almost a complete loss of power when the engine light comes on. Engine had a minor shake or miss at the time the light came on but idles fine and runs fine just seems like the computer shut off the boost. The fuel filter was changed a few hundred miles prior to this. Cam sensor was replaced already on recall.
I am running an after market chip for towing which I will check.
Sorry but the truck and I are in different states right now. I can't remember what name is on the chip.
I was just looking for info on what it might be.
She will be headed for the shop when I get home. I just hope it coded

 

Almost positive that one of the harnesses that go to the valve cover is coming loose check both sides.

 

If the CEL came on, a code has been stored... Definitely get that code...
