Default Air Ride on a 91.5 Dodge W350

Ok I got a 91.5 Dodge Ram W350 single wheel and as all of yall know their rough as HELL!!!!
I was wanting to softin up the ride a little bit. I was thinking putting 1/2 ton springs on the front and back and adding Firestone Ride Rite air helper bags but also keeping the HD 3/4 ton shocks I have on it. What do yall think????

I think it's such a great idea I have already done it on the rear of my '67 PW. I pulled all but 2 leaves out of the rear but I think 1/2 ton springs would be the way to go for sure. I have not done the front yet but will in the future. The back is much better riding now but with the still very stiff spring in the front it pogo sticks a bit on rough ground. It always did anyway so I'm used to it. Eventually I intend to have on board air also. I have most of what I need to do it except time.

I was also thinking bout removing the leaf springs completely then fabbing me a 4 link or 3 link swing arm kind of suspension then adding the air bags with on board air and still keeping the shocks
