when I first got my 2008 3500 it developed a noise in the dash about the control button level that rattled back and forth. I had it in for Warranty work shortly there after and had the service guys take a look. Never did find anything but it quit. Now my radio is cutting out bumps on the road or not. going to install blackmaxx this weekend and maybe someone knows a place to look or has had same problem i can fix it while I have things apart.

 

Cutting out? Sound or the screen? My screen cuts out so gotta replace it.

 

just the sound. I had it in for a bit of tuner work, HS Black Maxx with the dpf delete. while the guys were working I asked if I could dig around in there while they had it apart. found a connection to the antenna loose, power cable was smashed together too. Fixed them both and no more problems. and just FYI the mods made the cummins come to life!!!! a real truck now, and 20mpg highway no BS!
