Ford F350 Diesel dead battery

Truck wouldnt start so i jumped it got it home replaced both batteries. Now it wont start it seems like it is not getting enough juice to start. What could be the problem?

Do you have any way of checking voltage? I would guess an alternator.

Just msake sure you check and clean all the connections to the starter and the block, make sure they are tight, many a battery gets changed just because something was dirty or loose.
