Default New guy here...but got an idea!!

Ok every one im new to this diesel thing but i have a few questions about this famous hood stack setup..
Every where I go or everyone I talk to they tell me it's completely illegal to run a hood stack, but I set up last night thinking about something.
Some guys love the look of a stack(or stacks)but hate that constant growl in the cab. I like the look but I want something different from everyone else so I thought about running a hood stack, I kno their completely illegal but what if I was to add a bypass valve right past the turbo, run a hood stack setup and still run a full exhaust.
Can anyone help? Your .02 is needed!!

I've really thought this out..
If u run a down pipe and throw in a bypass right after the down pipe turns down with the by pass pointed straight back up running parallel with the down pipe hugging the turbo it would work..well in theory
I think it might have enough room But I really haven't looked and the "hood stack" would be at the seam of the hood and almost touching the firewall..
Do you think that would work?

Do they make exhaust dump valves in the size you need? Or would you have to custom build a manual set up?

Yes I have to custom make a mechanical valve but I got a pretty good idea it'll look very uhh rough but it might work
I'd like to have a blueprint to make one instead of me winging it the whole time
And thanks for looking I really wanna run a stack

I'm not too sure this will work, and even if it did, you may still get pulled over and a cop isn't gonna sit there while you give him a lesson in diesel mechanics on why it maybe legal, and to contest the ticket = lawyer which = more money that the ticket is worth. Hell Cops are even starting to get people with stacks in the beds. So gotta look at the law side of it also.
