Default '08 dpf del. h&s MPG'S STILL SUCK

Alright, bought my '08 in march. I'd heard everyone talking about their mpg gains when they did the dpf delete. Bought an H&S mini-max last month, and have seen no gains. I love the way it runs now,but I can't tell any difference even if I baby it around.I am not looking for a miracle, but would like to get better than 12mpg while im working.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Smarty doesn't work on a Powerstroke.

Im with Luke? Did you do a full dpf delete on it? Or is the dpf still in the truck? If its in the truck still you will not see any big mileage gains at all.

You need to delete the DPF and run their DPF Delete Program. You will see a difference.

NO, I have not done the egr."yet"? Have heard you need to do an external WG.I don't know if I want to get that deep into this thing? This truck is not my toy. I need reliability and MPG'S more than huge POWER. OH BTW guy's thanks a bunch.

Do you do the tunes for the mini max,or does H&S write them? Having a very minor tranny issue also.(I do not like the RPM range it shifts into 5th lock.)

OK guy's took a little road trip this afternoon. OKC and back (300 miles),and got 15.6 by my pencil. That's better but still not quite what I was hoping for.
