so when i bought my 06 CR it had a few mods but nothing done to the factory intake horn or air box, thinking of going with banks for both. any one had any bad exp with either? also is it really worth the extra 70 bucks for the heater grid delete?

 

I don't know how cold it gets down there in TN in the winter, but if it gets down close to 30ish you will probably miss the heater. I thought about it for mine, but I don't think its worth the 30hp or whatever

 

me either this will be my first winter, away from hawaii. i know when it snows it sticks around for a few days.

 

Don't delete the heater! I would look into S&B intakes and stay with a stock intake manifold or get a second gen one. You will not see anything from an aftermarket intake manifold with a stock turbo and if you do it won't justify the cost. Just my recommendation.
