My truck has a wierd misfire when u leave a stop sign with ur fooot in it or when ur goin and u kick it down it misses pretty bad doeesnt blow any smoke or anything but other wise runs fine just wondering if anyone knew what might be wrong

 

well if it's a 7.3 powerstroke. you could have a injector that came unplugged. or a bad injector. or there is a ground wire that comes off the back of the head on the passenger side. if the wire is loose it will sound like it has a miss. that wire goes from the back of the head to the fire wall. it's a flat one wrapped in black tape.

 

ya its a psd it only misses when im in the throttle other wise goin down the orad or just cruising is fine

 

check that ground wire.
