ways of making your turbo louder are taking the resinator off of the intake, thats the thing on the top that says 6.6.
you can port the stock turbo horn to a bigger size that helped mine quite a bit.
straightpiping the exhaust helps some, but the biggest difference i did was got a metal intake from bills custom intakes, made the turbo sound like a jet .

it was around $200-$250 don't remember, look up bills custom intakes. he has some good prices and you can get a turbo horn to go with it and make it scream .

not fun to be honest. i ported my stock one. they are a pain! if you get a 10mm gearwrench and a 1/4 inch 10mm wobley then it makes the job much easier. the bolt on the bottom is a pita!
i have heard that the new turbo horns he sells have a cutout for the bottom bolt so you can start it and then slide the horn over it. that would help a ton! i will be upgrading my stuff to one of his bigger intakes here someday with a turbo horn from him.
