Default MAP alarm going off and bad rail pop...

I am wondering if anyone knows what is safe operating range for MAP. I believe it stands for manifold absolute pressure. Whenever i kick my truck down and stay in it for a little while my CTS starts sounding a pre-set alarm for MAP. I have hit up to 50 before. Is this something i need to be concerned with, or should i shut this annoying alarm off? Also i have really bad rail pop when i kick the truck down full throttle. Does anyone know if taking the TNT off of my smarty and going back to the original programming will solve this?

I have a bag of parts on the way along with an airdog and 5 inch exhaust. And within the next 2 months i should have head studs, a manifold and turbo. I am thinking either thunder 330 or phat shaft 62.

Smarty TNT timing pop, kinda normal on that year truck. The MAP sensor is not a problem and will only read to 45 psi. If your pushing 50 psi or better time for studs.

I wish I wouldn't have already ordered the bag of parts then. Also what is a prv? I am getting the map reading from my cts which is connected through the obd and it has read around 50. My next purchase will be head studs exhaust manifold and turbo all at once. Maybe the bag of parts will hold me over for a while and when it fails I'll get a real hot cp3.
