Default EGT jumps quick

I have a 2001 dodge 24V stock except for straight piped and a Quadzilla adrenaline with V2 display. The EGT's jump from 400 to 1200 almost instantly, and then defuels. Any help would be appreciated.

Default New air box

Yea, I'll be ordering a new performance box tomorrow, someone else suggested a new fuel filter, I replaced it last year. Thanks for the advice!

You not using the quad anymore then? From what I understood it was pretty good for the 24v. What are you running for an air intake? Exhaust? Is your truck an auto or manual?

I still run it, but if I jump on it hard the EGT's jump too. The truck is an automatic with a stock exhaust that has been straight piped. I'm ordering an intake system tonight to see if that will help.

Since you have an auto, the 9cm exhaust housing on your HY35 is really restricting airflow and causing EGT's to jump. Switch on a 12cm from an HX35 (or buy an aftermarket 14cm if you want to spend the money) and it should help out tremendously.
