Default auxiliary switches

so im gettin ready to start puttin some lights and other stuff on my truck and im gunna need to get some auxiliary switches into the cab and wanted to see if yall have any ideas on a good place to mount them. im gunna use regular toggle switches and red warning lights above them so i know when they are on. all in all ill probly have 7-10 switches (probly only use 5 or 6 but i want more incase i hook up compressors or more lights or what have you)

as it stants the only thing the interior has is a pillar pod so everything else is clear. truck has front bucket seats and all that good stuff. if yall need more info just let me know

Thanks

Jeremy

I personally would probably put them in the panel below the steering column just because it would be easy to put them in there and that's where I've always put my switches.

Or maybe to the left of the steering column below the headlight switch(the narrow panel) or below the cubby hole unless you want to mount a brake controller or CB or something else there later.

If you have the dash 4x4 switch, you could put some next to it or if you don't have the air bag switch(passenger side on/off) you could put some there as well, by the power point.

I've always wondered as well. I figured the that annoying "dinger" speaker was behind it or something.

i just looked at it and i wont be able to mount it there. i forgot to mention that ive got shift on the fly 4wd and thats where the switch for that and my back up sensors is.

i was thinking about building a little box and putting it where you have your 3 gauge pod. far enough away that i wont bump it but close enough that i can get to it easily
