Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find the Smarty Power forum? Been offline for a while. I have a question if anyone knows. Does the smarty s06 turn off the extra emmisions ejection in the 06 trucks? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

NO! But you can with a plate! Are you talking the EGR? IS there an EGR Mine doesn't have one!

 

Thanks for the reply, but not talking about EGR. No EGR on our trucks. I'm talking about the late injection that is supposed to help with emissions. There is a late injection in the cycle that is supposed to help burn process in the cat. It tends to thin out the oil on the cylinder wall and increase wear. I'm trying to figure out if the smarty s06 im running cuts out that extra injection or if it is still there? Thanks much for the reply! Anybody else have any info on the subject. Is Bob Wagner still around in this forum??

 

Bob pops in when he see's fit! This is a good question you can't do it with the smarty and am not sure if he removed it. I doubt it. Maybe the ssr or efi live will do it?!
