Default Buying a used truck...

I'm on the hunt for another truck.

I've had three 12-valves in the past, I prefer them. But I'd like a 4-door dually so I'm looking at 03-06 trucks. If I'm going to settle for a 2nd gen club/quad cab, I'll be getting a 12-valve, no question. They are just getting hard to find with low miles/no mods. I don't need a 4x4, so I'm not considering them. I will not buy an Automatic truck. Seems I can find nice really low mileage 97-98 12-Valves for the same price as some 03-06 trucks with 130k-160k miles.

So, is there a certain year of 03-06 trucks that are better than the others and why?

Sell me on an 03-06 and I'll work harder to find a good one, because right now I'm spending more time looking for a clean 97-98 12-valve.
