I currently have a 92' Chevy 2500 with the 6.5L TD (Yeah, i know it's wimpy). I've read that a 12V Cummins will pretty much drop in place of the original engine. I'd like the 1st gen engine for simplicity. It's running a NV4500 with 14 Bolt rear (3:73's). It would be my first swap, not even out of high school.... I know there may be firewall issues and no a/c, but what else am I looking at? Expenses?? All advice welcome!!
