Question Edge Juice and Tow/Haul

I will be installing an Edge Juice with Attitude this weekend, and was wondering if it is still necessary and/or recommended to use the tow/haul setting on my truck when towing once the edge is installed. My truck is an 06 Mega Cab 5.9 Cummins, and I two a 21ft bass boat on a regular basis, and once a month or so, I will tow my 33ft travel trailer.

One other question... What does y'alls trucks idle at. My tach is jumping around a bit when the truck is cold, but says it's idling around 200 rpm. I'm not a diesle guru, but that seems a little low. Truck runs fine and seems normal though. I've read on here that a needle that jumps around is a sure sign that my tach is on its way out. I'm taking it in for some warranty work this afternoon, and I'd like to know if I need to bring this up to the tech.

Thanks Everyone.

I would still use teh Tow/Haul mode, as it doesn't change you engine power at all, to my knowledge. It changes your shift points, and down shifts to aide in slowing down.

That's why I asked the question. I thought that was a little low for an idle. Like I said, the truck itself idles good, but the tach seems off.

Your in-dash tach is whacked out like a lot of us with an 06. I believe it was more of an 06 issue. Mine does it also. When you get your edge installed you should see it idleing at 800rpm.
