Does anyone have a short shifter in a 5 speed,does it make a big difference. Likes or dislikes

 

FRIEND of mine has one.... hates it. Says its uncomfortable.

i have one in mine and its okay-ish i wish i hadn't but i don't race or anything i just mud or drive but a friend of mine has a short throw in his 5spd 2x4 and he loves the heck out of it but he also drag races it so id say for racing its good but uncomfortable for daily driving and not suggested for mudding in my opinion

 

Were did you guys get them at? I was looking at getting on for my 5speed!

 

i just found a fella on craigs with a blown cummins with tranny bought it and it had it on there but you should be able to go to summit racing and get the BD kit for around 250 or 300

 

for all of you guys that have it and don't really like it, get a heavier shift ****.

i didn't really like it first, but i read somewhere that a weighted **** would make it feel better. so i tried it and now i like it.

 

i have a pool ball for my shift ****! and i bought mine off a friend that took it off his truck.

 

Thanks for the heads up I order mine Monday it should be here tomorrow I got it from geno's garage for a lil under two hundred they also have some nice cummins ***** for 48 dollars they have 4 to choose from I got the black one
