On my '87 chevy silverados bumper i want to put on "roll on bed liner" but i have never tryed it so would it hold if i spent the afternoon with a grinder an a wire wheel to ruff it up or should i just leave it alone an do the floor boards?

I would scuff it up with a scotchbrite or something and then put it on there.

I'd do the floor boards first, and then if I had
any left overs I'd grind the hell out of it. The shops
sand your box down a fair amount before they spray it.
Sounds like a big job. Hope it turns out how you want it.

 

A wire wheel should do it.

How much did you buy? I was looking at Dupli-Colors roll on stuff yesterday, and one Gallon will do a 6ft bed with ease.

it sucks IMO the best roll on is hurculiner
