i was wondering how strict flordia is on diesels that smoke,im waiting to go visit some family in flordia this summer & dont wanna get pulled over every 20mins cause my trucks smoke & about how much is diesel at the moment?

 

FLORIDA doesn't have any issues with trucks blowing smoke

i used to get pulled over every few hours if i drove nonstop in a day for noise & smoke

 

diesel here in jacksonville, FL is 4.09 a gallon

 

We have no emissions codes but it depends on the County, in Sarasota, the cops are dicks and if you blow smoke they will get you on something.....

 

dont know county names.but il be heading 95 south to get to flordia & going to fort peirce,maimi, & fort larturdal(i forget how to spell the name)

 

If you drive sanely, your truck shouldn't smoke. Simple as that......

 

I was kinda thinking the same thing. If you truck smokes so much that it draws attention going down the road you probably need to tune it right. As for the noise just coast past any cops that are around.

 

it does ke a good bit when i want it to,but whenever i first get on throttle no matter what itl always make a cloud not a block out the sun but itl puff for a second & for some reason it drives somecops crazy,as for noise i probaly should put a muffuler on it because once i get past 78mph you cant hear anything at all except my truck
