Anybody have issues towing with a big wheel kit? Looking to tow my 32' triple axle car trailer. Prob about 10k. Lbs. Truck is a 6 sp with some mods

 

i had an 06 3500 drw and had the big wheel kit with auto and some light mods and didnt have any problems. actually the DOT when i stopped at the scales said they were better for towing what i tow because of the weight rateings on em. i towed my telehandler with attachments on my 53' gooseneck and weighed in at 38,000lbs and had zero problems. If i still had a dually i would have em on it again in a heartbeat.It did change the ride just a bit though

 

Dayyyum that's some weight.! I should b fine then. Had big wheels on my 08 f350- that truck was just junk. It didn't like the wheels. Lol so happy that thing gone.. along with those square was wheels Lmao.

 

I had 22.5's on my 06 and I really liked them. I couldn't put them on my 2010 because I had 3.73 gears on a auto. I wish I ordered a truck in with 4.10's so I could have used them.

I towed 38 to 42K all the time and I really liked the tires.

 

Yeah i had the wheels and tires off of hummin cummins truck i bought em from him and ran em another 30,000k and then sold the truck with em on
