no speedo

my 94 was an auto but the kid b4 me put a 5 speed in it but the speedo and odometer dont work what could it b? put a new abs sensor in and same stuff

No sure about 2nd gen trucks, but don't you have a vehicle speed sensor on the transmission or transfer case?

check the front half of the tranny see if he has it plugged into right places if it is plugged in you might has a cut wire
