i have a smarty for a 98.5 to 02 an was working fine an took it off my truck. an went to reinstall and it starts normal but when it gets to screen to press 1 or 2 nothing happens with any button. tried it 0n 2 other trks does same thing to all 3. anyone ever had this problem?

 

I can't say I've ever had that problem, but I have only had my Smarty for a few weeks.

Tried several times to get ahold of them via email an had no response.. Does anyone know a phone number or anything for smarty/mads?

 

They are in Italy or something like that. It usually takes a few days to get a reply back in my experience. Did you have a ecm flash done on it? Have you tried updating it on the website?
