I have had both on my 05 and the smarty blew the edge out of the water. As stated above the edge was nice for the built in gauges but mine seemed to run a bit higher egts. smarty is designed for these 3rd gens and seems to do very well with em. Smarty has my vote

what ever tune you get make sure you can change the programing on the fly. I would not get a re-programer again. you have to upload and down load each time you want to change programs.

Here is the real reason I say that. When you first start up and its cold you don't want the extra fuel of your 100hp turn. you should be in a stock or near stock tune for warm up, then after that go for it set what ever turn you want.

I have the edge juice attitude cts and I really like it. My sustained EGTs are fine for towing and for driving around. It will ramp up some high EGTs when I am mashing on it, but after talking with some diesel mechanics it is ok if you dont run it at that for an extended amount of time. I really like all of the guages and the fact that it has some awesome defueling safety features. It also puts out some pretty impressive power!
