I am wanting to change my 1987 f250 cab due to to being rusted out and im wondering if a 1988 f150 cab would work?? Both are regular cab.

 

u will need to use the wiring out of the diesel but yes should work.

 

I figured it would work...just would have to change the wiring out and probably have to push the fire wall in around the cylinder head to clear.

 

should clear fine. but before you put the new cab on, take a hammer and bend the pinch weld over on the front of the cab. will help alot if u ever need to work on the backside or install a turbo.

 

wait what wiring do you have. i've done this basically. actually just did well it turned into another project but do you have the connectors or straight through wiring? my 85 was wired straight through. i ended up going with a 95 powerstroke cab and a powerstroke instead of the old 6.9. just check connectors on firewall. i'm gonna guess its a no but not sure
