Default Will a Torque Converter and valve body be enough?

Ok, getting ready to order my parts for my tranny before i start bombing my truck and figured I would list out my upgrades I'm planning on and get some input on wether or not I'm making the right choices or not. So first off. My upgrades I plan on buying.

Airdog (100 or 150) <--- Could use some insight on the differences
Injection pump (Anyone know of a good one?)
50 HP injectors (To avoid having to upgrade my turbo at the moment.)
Gauges
Smarty Jr.

Those are what i have plans, If anyone has something i need to add to the list to prevent something from breaking please speak up. I'm new to the whole bombing scene.

But now to the REAL question. Will a Torque converter and valve body be enough for the upgrades listed above. Going to be going through Goerend aswell.

Thanks in advance guys!

BTW 07 Ram 5.9

When you call Goerend, just ask Dave for his insight and what you're expecting the engine to put out in regards to power. He won't oversell you and he'll make sure you have everything you need.

If your not making BIG numbers a 100 will be fine and recommended. A smarty POD would be a better bet so you can grow with it. Just get a bag of parts "Arson III" All you need for up to 700hp. You can make 550hp with stock injectors. If you want to keep your mpg don't go bigger than 50hp sticks!

No where close to 500 HP with your mods......and you would need a lot more done to your tranny if you want to achieve those numbers. Fuel supply difference between the 100 and 150........you better go larger if you want 550 HP.

550 is a "big" number on a dyno.

NOt anymore and really not so big wiht a common rail these trucks rea DYNO HP queens.

to the Original poster. Good question as Im looking for this same anawer right now. I agree though if you wnat bigger power later get a smarty not a JR. Jr's are great for just a basic DD pull your camper mod. You'll just have to keep the smarty turned down untill you have afford a turbo studs the works

What else would i need to add to my list to hit 500-550 except for the Smarty? And would my tranny upgrades be enough?

Get an MP-8 and boost fooler and find a dyno your already there at this point! Talk to Dave at Goerend there are a few little parts that will help but 500hp is easy for this trans! A turbo in the future like a thunder 330 would be fine!
