your 2002 has PMR (powerderd metal rods) which tend to break around 400hp, some people have gotten more, some have gotten less, i have a set of used forged rods if you want them? and for the trans call BTS, they have an amazing trans, and my build is goin ha, waiting on some more cash flow for some misc. parts, intercooler, pushrods, valve springs, high pressure oil lines, oil cooler, stuff like that, but its gettin close

A 38R will hold hybrids and you will be right around the 500 mark but that's about the max for that turbo... Ken (Diezel Dawg) had a 38r with 250's and was just shy of 500.

You will need to address the transmission if your looking for close to 500... It will not survive... There is no "Keeping an eye" on it at that level.

ok shot me a pm of how much u want for them cuz im going to put some forged ones in at some point. but what sucks is the engine was over hauled around 20,000 ago so basically all ill be doing is new rods and bearings maybe new pistons, rings like CSIPSD suggested
