Need a Good Quality TV...Who Makes One??
Just got a Xbox Kinect & all the goodies, but the current TV is to small, so we need to get a larger TV.....will be turning the downstairs game room into a TV room for the Kinect....
Who makes a good quality 40inch TV...that will be great with Xbox games & movies along with HD TV...
Don't want to spend 3 arms a the left nut, but something that's quality without being ubber expensive....

Check out Newegg and CostCo for some deals.
Last summer my wife and I picked up a 46 inch Samsung 120Hz 1080p with multiple HDMI inputs, HDTV tuner built in, internet ready and preloaded with apps like NetFlix, etc., for around $1200 so it should be cheaper now. It has the EdgeLit (the entire edge around the TV lights up) and I think it's an LED TV.
Blu-Ray, HDTV, and PS3/XBox graphics are absolutely stunning on this thing. It makes DVD looks like VHS.

I spent several months working for a friend that needed help with his electronics recycling business. I've taken apart 1000's of TV's and none are built like a Sony. They have a great picture as well. I'm also a fan of Samsung and Mitsubishi.
Samsung all the was for this guy. I have had 3 Samsung TV's, and have never had any issues with them. Just upgraded to bigger, or thinner.
As for Sony...
. They may make a decent product, but until their customer service and friendliness of salespeople dramatically improve, I'm leaving that $hit on the shelf.

I have all Panasonic's in my house, a 42" LCD, 55" LCD and 60" Plasma - I have no issues with picture quality or sound.
My sons Vizio is a 40" LCD I believe and all he does is gaming. His TV with the HDMI cable looks awesome.

I prefer Plasmas.... Deeper Richer Colors
Check out Consumer Reports... even the high end LEDs don't rate as high as a Plasma.

When you get to the bigger sizes plasma all the way. I love my Samsung plasma. Also have a vizio and a Sanyo I. The camper. The vision is awesome. The Sanyo sucks bad.
Best advice is to hit up a store that has a huge display and find one you like.
