Default IDI De-turboed

I have just removed an old Hypermax tubo from my 1990 F-350. The turbo bearing was bad and it needs to be rebuilt. I am having trouble finding a stock CDR valve. Any help is appreciated. I want to get the turbo rebuilt, but want to drive the truck until that is done. Right now I have the CDR valve that came with the turbo kit mounted to the underside of the air cleaner box. I am getting alot of oil running into there. I found a photo that shows the CDR valve on the back of the intake under the air cleaner...is that the stock place for it? This is my first IDI and I really like it but I am having some difficulty finding a good parts explosion photo or diagram that would really help.

Thanks,
Doug

Is the CDR valve even necessary? I mean, if you were to vent oil gas out of the crankcase and capture the oil, what is the purpose?

Just talked to a guy who will rebuild the turbo for $300. Life is good.

you can run a RDT(road draft tube) like tractors and semis do, but at idle it will look like the truck is on fire. lots of haze will come out of the tube.

the cdr is not needed, but is nice to have when it is working correctly.
