Seen this back in the late 80's and early 90's.

My folks we're looking to get into the tire shredding business, and when running full tilt can eat 40 to 60 car tires per minute, 20 to 30 trucks tires per minute, and up to 10 of the rubber tire loader tires per minute. It'll eat wood and tree trunks, steel, aluminium, tires, tires with rims/wheels, and damn near anything those teeth will sink into.

When setup for tires, they chain 3 to 5 of them together with conveyor belts and can separate the steel and fiber belts from tires, and take the tire rubber down in size to under 1/16 of an inch, making it the consistency of loose dirt. Conveyors mag out the steel (belts and wheels) and the rubber and fiber belts separate when run through a shaker or screen.

You can easily get a hundred thousand pounds of pressure at each cutting surface.
